Sex Magick with The Y’allternative Witch
As a sex and love magick witch, I really love working here at Boutique Royale! To help folks of all kinds overcome taboos, inner-shame, sex myths of all kind, and all other kinds of situations is truly a rewarding experience. And to further help our clients, I wanted to share a little sex magick advice and knowledge to help inspire you on your sexual wellness journeys!
What is Sex Magick? Sex Magick is using sexual activity -whether alone or with a partner(s)- to raise energy and use it to manifest your hearts desires. It is very powerful because of the amount of energy that can be raised during the activity that you choose.
What to take from Sex Magick practices? You don’t have to be a witch to use aspects of sex magick. Some of my recommendations would be ritualizing sexual activity, and bringing in body awareness and breath awareness. When you create a ritual within your activity -dimming the lights, lighting candles and/or incense, turning on some music, setting out your lubes and massage oils and favorite toys- it becomes a sacred act in itself. As for body and breath awareness, it keeps you in the present moment and helps you enjoy and bask in the sensations you’re experiencing. I mean, what’s the point of sex if you’re just worried about what’s for dinner tonight? Be in the moment!
When to Sex Magick? Sex Magick is very powerful and potent, and therefore shouldn’t be taken lightly. I recommend reading “Sacred Sex: The Magick and Path of the Divine Erotic” by Gabriela Herstik to begin your sex magick journey.
