Glass, Metal and Silicone

In the novelty world there are always new and exciting things coming out. But some things remain the same, and one of those is the types of materials our favorites are made of.

Some of the most popular toys are made of silicone, ABS plastic, and a PVC gel. A few of our go-to toys are by “We-Vibe” and “Vedo” because of their buttery soft silicone. We also love the “b yours” line of PVC dongs, due to the realistic look and feel they offer.

If you’re feeling adventurous a glass wand or metal plug can add a different sensation. These materials are great for temperature play. Simply running it under cold or warm water can add an interesting sensation that can amp up your sensitivity. “Icicles”, “Rogue”, and “Booty Sparks” are some of our favorite brands for glass and metal toys. Also, glass and metal can be used with any type of lubricant, but plastic and silicone should be used strictly with water-based lube. Most vibrating toys will be ABS plastic or silicone, making them glide smoothly across and inside the body.
